Day 1 Udaipur

In the evening, you may take a short trip on your bike to get a hang of it and further chat with your guide about the adventure filled days coming ahead. A short distance of cycling amidst the artistic marvel is recommended to check your bikes. The mystical environment during the sunset is surely not to be missed when you are in Udaipur. If you are okay with sightseeing, we will cover some of the best scenic views of royal retreats during the sunset, which might include City Palace and Jag Mandir Island Palace. Day: 2 Udaipur – Countryside

The beautiful city is bordered by hills and woodlands that offer a delightful view from some hidden spots. To explore these hidden sites, we will en route towards the outskirts of Udaipur on Day 2. After breakfast, we will leave the hotel and will head towards the countryside to visit reminiscent sites. The first few kilometres will be rough as you will be pedalling along with the city traffic. For cyclists who don’t prefer to ride a bike amidst traffic, we always have a backup saddle, so you can get into it until we are out of the hustle and bustle of the city. To get a sneak peek into the culture, we will take a tour around small hamlets nearby and witness the amazing splendour at off-beaten paths. We can also navigate you to cover some popular tourist spots in Udaipur before coming back to the hotel in the evening. After basking in the beauty of the City of Lakes, we will call it a day and have a sumptuous dinner prepared with authentic Rajasthani ingredients.

Day: 3 Udaipur – Kumbhalgarh

Day 3 brings you even closer to the eccentric cultural beauty of Rajasthan as we will be heading towards the land of prominent royal retreat- Kumbhalgarh. To avoid the traffic, we will be driving for approx. 40 kms and then you can hop onto your bikes to encounter the unsung attractions of rural Rajasthan. You will get plenty of scenic spots to include in your travelogue as the hilly wooden area of South Rajasthan is truly spectacular. The valley views are worth mentioning before you catch the first glimpse of the mighty Kumbhalgarh Fort which is a reminder of the eternal Mewar culture. The last few kilometres are quite challenging as it is an uphill ride, so you may take the backup saddle to reach the town.

If time permits, we can take a tour of the Kumbhalgarh Fort which looks stunning when lit up at night. Perched atop Aravalli Hills, the Mewar fortification was built in the 15th century. The view from the fort is surreal as it is surrounded by thirteen hill peaks. Besides, the wall of the fort is 38kms long which is considered the second largest after the Great Wall of China. The grandeur of the fort is highly renowned that it was never been attacked or captured by enemies. The striking fort has more than 300 temples and certain architectural wonders that take at least two hours to visit. If you feel tired, we can skip the tour and reserve it for the next morning and directly head to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day: 4 Kumbhalgarh – Narlai

Bird-eye view from the top of this fort is worthwhile. After touring the epitome of architectural wonder, we would be turning our handlebars towards a quaint little village called Narlai. On our way to Narlai, we would like off-beaten paths, so there will be certain rough trails and slight ascends, which are perfect catalysts for adventure seeking cyclists. Day: 5 Narlai – Ranakpur

On day 5, we will be pedalling on foothills terrains to seek new adventures and create a bunch of memories at the picturesque destination, Ranakpur which has many traces of royal legacies. Widely recognized for the magnificent Jain Temple which is exquisitely carved out of Marble, the stunning site boasts religious as well as architectural significance. The scenic routes towards Ranakpur are moderately challenging and the off-road trails are perfectto run through wild and rural sights of the countryside. Day: 6 Ranakpur – Korta

The next day calls for a fairly easy yet long bike ride. Though we will have our backup saddle all the time, but the stretches of verdant jungles and winding roads often make it difficult for bike enthusiasts to stop pedalling and get into a cab. We will be covering a cycling distance of approx. 75kms to reach Korta which is considered as a destination where ‘time stops’. The tranquil beauty of this small village is perfect to define what rural Rajasthan actually looks like. Kortais often missed by tourists in the Rajasthan expeditiondue to ignorance, but we assure you the retreat at the serene farmlands of this village is unique and memorable.

The geographical topography of this village has an abundance of flora and fauna. The unique blend of wilderness and culture is best defined by visiting Korta once in a lifetime. The harmony is being perfected by camel herders, shepherds and traditionally dressed women. Day: 7 Korta – Siana

The village borders Aravalli Hills and the Thar Desert, thus offering scenic locations to have an experience that motivates you to travel throughout your life. We will take a Jeep Safari here as the village is highly recommended for prolific leopard encounters. After an adventure-filled dose of wilderness, we will reach our hotel and call it a day.

Day: 8 Siana – Bhenswara

After breakfast, we will leave the hotel to pedal across another stunningly scenic route. The path leads to an open trail towards tribal villages. After spending the first half of the day gently rolling down the off-road routes, we will take a moderately challenging gravel path to reach Bhenswara.
