Day: 1 - Kochi

Your memorable trip begins when you land at the Cochin International Airport. You will be escorted from the airport for an enjoyable ride to the hotel reserved at Fort Kochi. The glorious history of this city can be encountered on your ride to the hotel. You can also chat with the tour guide and discuss the unspoilt beauty of Keralan city to enjoy the hour long ride. On arrival at the hotel, you receive a unique welcome that will unleash the rich South Indian culture. After a quick nap, the bikes are handed over to the tour members. You can check your bikes to get a hang of it.

Later in the evening, if time permits we will go on a short tour to explore the delightful sights that include bountiful encounters of art, history and nature. The sightseeing tour begins with a heritage edifice, which is an ancient 16th century church where the Portuguese nobleman Vasco De Gama was buried. After getting mesmerized by the architectural grandeur of this church, we will encounter the neatly nestled beautiful silhouettes of Chinese Fishing Nets. It is one of the most popular tourist hot spots in Fort Kochi and offers panoramic splendour during the sunsets. Day: 2 Kochi - Marari Beach

Day 2 has an early start. After breakfast, we will leave the cosmopolitan culture at Kochi behind and head towards enchanting rural encounters at Marari village. On our way to Marari beach, we will explore different forms of nature’s bliss. The scenic route features pristine waters and pretty sights of tall palm trees and coconut groves. Riding along the coast is a stimulating experience and you won’t even notice that you have pedalled to cover a distance of 70 kms. We will cover the stretch at a relaxing pace because tour members are expected to unwind their senses while pedalling across the outing arenas of South India.

We will reach our destination by the afternoon, which gives us the entire evening to explore the entire village. The rustic nature and the beach ambience at Marari are perfect to take a pause and forget about the hectic schedules. After spending a few hours at the sand carpets on the beach and witnessing the slow paced rural life, we will get back to the hotel to treat our taste buds with some authentic seafood. We will have dinner at the hotel.

Day: 3 Marari Beach – Alleppey

After a long day of cycling, your muscles deserve a relaxed morning and a late start. We will have a leisurely start of the day and have breakfast with the motive to unwind and seek peace. Day 3 is a short bike ride along the gravelled stretch that is lined with beautiful coconut groves. We will cover a short distance to reach Alleppey, althoughmultiple charming pitstops are included in the ride to make it worthwhile. The lush greenery and laidback lifestyle are best encountered through Kerala bike trip packages. We will wander around to witness life in small villages of South India. Alleppey is known for coir making, so we will spend some time with the locals to learn to make ropes with coir. We have planned the exotic escape which starts with lunch and is followed by dinner and overnight stay at a houseboat.

Day: 4 Alleppey – Kumarakom

Waking up on a houseboat floating over the placid emerald green backwaters is a different experience altogether. You may want to cherish the moments forever but we will leave the resplendent houseboat after breakfast. We will hit the roads again and head towards our next destination. Kumarakom, ornated with paddy fields, is a cluster of little islands that offer a perfect amalgamation of tranquillity and beauty. A tour of this tropical paradise includes a visit to the famous Champakulam church and an exciting canoe ride.
