This thoughtfully crafted journey blends nature, culture, and adventure. You’ll pedal through paddy fields and spice-scented plantations, ride over historic bridges, and climb hairpin bends to cloud-kissed Ooty, with plenty of time to savour local life, cuisine, and scenery.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Bangalore

Arrive at Bangalore airport and transfer to your hotel. Rest and recover from jet lag or join an optional city tour of the “Garden City,” known for its greenery, historic temples, and pleasant climate.

Day 2: Bangalore – Mysore

Drive to Mysore, Karnataka’s cultural capital. Explore the grand Mysore Palace , bustling bazaars famous for silk and incense, and nearby temples or art galleries.

Day 3: Mysore – Srirangapatna – Mysore

Cycle to the island town of Srirangapatna , rich in Tipu Sultan’s history and a UNESCO nominee. Later climb Chamundi Hills for sweeping views and the iconic Nandi bull statue.

Day 4: Mysore – Bandipur

Pedal 70 km through countryside to Bandipur National Park , detouring to Nanjangud’s Srikanteshwara Temple. Evening free; safaris next morning.

Day 5: Bandipur – Mudumalai – Bandipur

Morning and afternoon jeep safaris in Bandipur and Mudumalai. Spot tigers, elephants, deer, and vibrant birdlife.

Day 6: Bandipur – Ooty

A thrilling 40 km ascent with 36 hairpin bends leads to Ooty , the “Switzerland of India,” known for tea gardens and colonial charm. Backup vehicle available.

Day 7: Ooty – Guruvayur

Descend through the Nilgiris, dropping 2,000 m to Mettupalayam. After tea break, drive into Kerala to Guruvayur , home to a revered Krishna temple.

Day 8: Guruvayur – Fort Kochi

Visit India’s oldest church, Palayur, then cycle 80 km along Kerala’s vibrant coast. Ferry to Fort Kochi , a colonial-era gem of Portuguese and Dutch heritage.

Day 9: Fort Kochi – Alleppey

Ride 50 km through villages and canals to Alleppey . Board a private houseboat to drift along Kerala’s backwaters past rice barges and toddy shops.

Day 10: Alleppey – Marari Beach

Learn traditional coir-making, then cycle 30 km to Marari Beach , a quiet fishing village with golden sands and swaying palms.

Warm and humid. Monsoon (July–August) brings heavy rain; October–March is best for riding with cooler mornings.

Transport & Support

All transfers included. Backup vehicle carries luggage, spares, water and offers lifts whenever you’d like a break from riding.

Health & Etiquette

Areas are malaria-free. Dress modestly for churches/temples and rural areas. Avoid raw street ice and unsealed water.
