Day: 1 - Kochi

The memorable bike ride in Kerala begins by landing at the amazing port city, Cochin. You will be picked up from the airport by our friendly and knowledgeable guides. You can easily spend the half an hour ride with our guides and talk about the exciting days ahead. We will transfer you to a pre booked hotel in Fort Kochi where you will have a lip smacking lunch and then relax for a while. After which, you will be introduced to the rest of the tour members. The chatting session is followed by handing over the bikes. Check your bikes for any adjustments if you need. Once done, we will head out and begin touring the dreamy destination of emerald waters and quaint backdrops.

On day 1, we will explore the unmatched vibes of a heritage city, named Fort Kochi. The signs of Portuguese, British and Dutch colonies are seamlessly bending here. Visitors are always attracted to the lively streets of Fort Kochi sandwiched between old houses adorned with European architecture. Pedalling is the best way to move across the tiny lanes of this heritage city. After exploring the vibrant alleyways for some time, we will take a tour of one of the oldest European churches in India.

Built in 1503, St. Francis Church is renowned for its ambience and wow-worthy architecture. The landmark is also famous for being the burial ground for the legendary explorer Vasco De Gama. The city is filled with ancient vibes which are best to be encountered at the lively Jewish markets. Additionally, we will be covering the vantage point of Fort Kochi, i.e. Chinese Fishing Nets. Seeing the fishing nets while sipping delicious coconut water or taking in the sunset breeze are some of the popular activities of tourists. The treat of tender coconut water at the beach is followed by a dance performance by the local artists to make it a perfect beginning of the memorable bike tour of South India.
