Rendezvous Rajasthan With Bicycle

Udaipur–Kumbhalgarh - Ranakpur- Godwad - chanoudgarh - Jodhpur

DAY 01: Udaipur–Kumbhalgarh 85kms

After breakfast leave for Kumbhalgarh. You commence your trip from Iswal, the terrain is beautiful and has slopes and climbs, and you will come across fields, green pastures and villages and reach Kumbhalgarh. Kumbhalgarh is the former capital of the kingdom of Mewar. On reaching Kumbhalgarh you will visit the fort which is a spectacular one which has never been captured in earlier times and it’s an architectural marvel, also it consists of the fields and wells and its self –sustaining model helps it from being strategically unconquerable. It has a 36kms wall circling it and makes this wall the second largest to in the world. Lunch at Kumbhalgarh. You will come to hotel by the evening.

DAY 2: Kumbhalgarh- Ranakpur- Godwad (84 Kms approx)

After breakfast, you leave for Ranakpur through a hilly but beautiful terrain. On the way, we will see some great rural life which is awesome as it is really very ethnic. You reach Ranakpur & visit The Famous Jain Temples which are magnificently carved & like poetry in white marble. Temple was constructed in 15th century by famous merchant of this region called "Dharna Shah", temple stands on 1444 beautiful carved pillers which are different from each other. This temple dedicated to 24th Tirthankara Adinatha. Lunch at Ranakpur. After lunch you will carry on to  The region called ‘Godwad’ and has a beautiful terrain like none other. Rocky Mountains and solid rock caves with semi-arid vegetation makes it the perfect habitat for the leopard.  On reaching Godwad you will come to the Godwad leopard safari camp .In the evening you will go on a jeep safari for leopard sighting in the wild. In the evening you can enjoy the camp and its subtle calm.

DAY 3: Godwad- chanoudgarh (68km)

After breakfast leave for chanoudgarh, today route will be not very long; you will pass through some villages and have experience with village life in this region. Later drive to Chanoudgarh. Majestic Chanoudgarh is the ancestral home of the landowners of the area and has been tastefully converted to a modern hotel. But do not expect telephones and televisions -the Garh will provide you with an authentic experience of traditional Rajasthani hospitality in a tranquil village setting. Afternoon. Evening Jeep ride to the Bishnoi village. The Bishnoi, ecologists since the fifteenth century. Whereas animals and trees as their family members - especially black antelopes, they consider their son - the Bishnoi of Rajasthan in India provides their care and affection for many centuries. In a world where environmental issues are always more news, Bishnoi and their ancestral traditions might have something to teach us. The Bishnoi have strongly guarded their traditions. They are well known for their hospitality.

DAY 4: Chanoudgarh - Jodhpur (125km)

After breakfast, leave from Chanoud to Jodhpur, you can get lucky on the way to spot some spotted deer, blackbucks & antelopes. It is a small hamlet, in unexplored rural Rajasthan. You reach Jodhpur late afternoon & check-in at the hotel. If you feel you have enough energy left after a long day's biking, you can choose to explore the city’s heritage & its majestic fort - Mehranagarh fort -which is one of the most beautiful Forts of Rajasthan. It is situated on a 150m high hill, Rao Jodha the than chief of Rathore clan constructed this fort in 1459 and Jaswant Thada - It is royal cenotaph made up of white marble. Later visit the Magnificent Mehrangarh Fort - Which is one of the most beautiful Forts of Rajasthan. It is situated on a 150m high hill, Rao Jodha the than chief of Rathore clan constructed this fort in 1459.
