Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 01: Udaipur – Kumbhalgarh (85 km)

After breakfast in Udaipur, transfer to Iswal to begin the ride. The terrain unfolds with gentle climbs, green pastures, and rustic villages. Reach Kumbhalgarh, the former Mewar capital and home to the imposing Kumbhalgarh Fort, famous for its 36-km-long wall—second only to the Great Wall of China. Explore the fort’s ingenious self-sustaining design of wells and fields before checking into your lodge by evening.

Day 02: Kumbhalgarh – Ranakpur – Godwad (84 km)

Ride through hilly countryside alive with rural life to Ranakpur, where the 15th-century Jain Temple stands like poetry in white marble, supported by 1,444 uniquely carved pillars. After lunch, continue into the rugged beauty of Godwad, a semi-arid habitat of rocky hills and hidden caves. Evening brings a jeep safari in search of the elusive leopard, followed by a peaceful night under the stars.

Day 03: Godwad – Chanoudgarh (68 km)

Today’s shorter ride takes you past quiet hamlets and village fields before arriving at Chanoudgarh, a beautifully restored ancestral home where modern comfort meets old-world charm. In the afternoon, enjoy a jeep excursion to Bishnoi villages, meeting a community that has safeguarded wildlife and trees as part of their 15th-century ecological tradition.

Day 04: Chanoudgarh – Jodhpur (125 km)

Pedal out across open country, keeping an eye out for blackbuck and spotted deer. Arrive in the Blue City of Jodhpur by late afternoon. If energy allows, explore the Mehrangarh Fort, one of Rajasthan’s most magnificent hill forts, and the elegant Jaswant Thada marble cenotaph before concluding your cycling adventure.
